Moving Forward
Help me help more families
Hello there, friend.
You may recall that in May I emailed you explaining that I was stepping back from Speaking of Teens to help my son get through a difficult time.
The number of emails, texts, and DMs I’ve received since first explaining our current situation made me realize how lucky I’ve been to be able to make a difference in people’s lives.
I’m not finished just yet.😉
While I am stepping away from the podcast, YouTube, and teaching live classes, I am not stepping away from this work—I’m just shifting how I do it so I can be more present for my family.
Over the past several months, I’ve been working out how to bring my signature course, The Field Guide to Teens, directly to schools, organizations, and communities so families can access it even without me teaching it live.
The fact that I can help even more families, during this season of life, certainly helps me rest easier.🤝
Here’s where you might be able to help, if you’re willing: I’m looking to connect with schools, workplaces, places of worship, non-profits, residential treatment centers, county health departments, or any organization that might want to bring this program to the families they serve.
If you know someone like a principal, a PTA president, a school counselor, an HR director, a counselor in an RTC or someone similar who might be open to a conversation, I’d really appreciate it if you’d send them my way or just reply with their name and contact information so I can reach out.
Of course, perhaps you could be the person to help bring the course to your school, job, or community organization.🙌
Thank you for letting me share what I’ve learned over the years with you. With your help, I can keep doing this work far into the future, improving the lives of many more families.
With so much gratitude,🙏
Ann
